How to get started with Hybrik integration
Before you get started with Hybrik integration, please make sure that you have the needed permissions for the operations.
To get started, you will need the two sets of credentials and API settings:
Server URL, OAPI key and secret
TheServer URL
(API Endpoint base URL only) as well as theOAPI key
andsecret
can be found in the Hybrik Portal under Account > Info > API Details.
Server URL
Note that you will need to take only the base URL from the API Endpoint.
For example:
If you have something like https://api-demo.hybrik.com/v1
then just use https://api-demo.hybrik.com
as the Server URL when configuring the authentication node.
API User key and secret
They can be found in the Hybrik Portal under Account > API Users > New API User.
Compliance date
This field means that the client application complies with the API up to the current date.
The value should have the format: YYYYMMDD
. E.g. 20230825
Now that you have your API authentication credentials, you can proceed further.
Go to qibb Workflow Editor, open Node Catalog in the right sidebar, and install the Hybrik node by clicking on the + button.
Drag the Hybrik Auth API node, and set up the Server URL and authentication credentials.
Drag the Hybrik API node, and any other nodes you require from the left sidebar to your flow and connect them.
Open the Hybrik API node you want to use and select an operation. Now, you can start using the integration!
Importing flow examples of a node
Once you've successfully installed a node from the qibb catalog, you can easily import example flows that showcase how the nodes can be used. These example flows are directly accessible within the Flow Editor and are designed to guide users with helpful hints, including how to configure mandatory parameters and credentials.
Here's how to import examples:
In the top right corner of the Flow Editor, click on the menu icon.
Select Import to open the Import Dialog.
Click on the Examples tab.
Choose an example from the list.
Confirm your selection by clicking on the Import button.
By following these steps, you are now ready to make basic API calls using the provided examples. For further exploration of what’s possible, you can find more complex examples in the Flow Catalog.
