Uninstalling nodes from your flow

How to uninstall nodes from your flow app

If you have previously installed extra nodes to your flow app from the qibb Catalog or Node-Red community but are not actively using them, it is advisable to uninstall these nodes.

Uninstalling nodes is done via the Palette Manager, which is available in the Flow Editor.

  1. Navigate to your flow app and login to the Flow Editor.

  2. Click on the burger menu icon at the top right corner, and then select Manage Palette.

  3. Click on the Nodes tab.

  4. Review the list of installed nodes.

  5. Hit the remove button next to the node you wish to uninstall.*

The remove button next to a node is only accessible when the node is not used within your flow.

Please note that the uninstallation process may vary in duration, ranging from a few seconds to a maximum of one minute. Upon completion of the process, a notification will appear at the top of the screen.

You can monitor the progress by checking the Event Log Window in the Flow Editor. To do this, simply click on the burger menu icon at the top right corner, and then select View > Event Log.
